Recommended Books on the Body and Dreams Understanding of the subtle and profound relationships between the body and bodily sensations and the understanding of dreams has been increasing in the West, due in large measure to the pioneering work of Arnold Mindell. His book Dreambody - The Body's Role in Revealing the Self (Sigo Press, 1982) introduces his ideas and dream work techniques. He has written several other books, the best of which in my opinion are Working with the Dreaming Body and The Dreambody in Relationship, both published by Routledge & Kegan Paul, 1985 and 1987 respectively. Eugene Gendlin, originator of the psychospiritual technique of "focusing," has also written an interesting and useful book entitled Let Your Body Interpret Your Dreams (Chiron Publications, 1986).
